So.... Well, I'm still determined to better my diet and exercise regularly. I've been going jogging (usually 2-3 miles) about three times a week. With my schedule, that's all I can commit to right now. I'm not over-eating and I'm preparing more meals ahead of time so I don't find myself grabbing something at fast food joints. It's going pretty well.
I treated myself to a Chicago-style deep dish pizza because it was my mom's birthday. UMm UMm good. The only sucky thing is that it turned into meals for us for about 3 days since it was so FREAKIN huge:( I have to work extra hard now just to make up for that Monstrous pizza.
The jogging is going well. I have more energy and I know it sounds strange but I'm actually happier and I feel better about myself. Weird, I know, but not really, says some specialists. According to When you exercise regularly, you tone your body and metabolism, regulates stress hormones like cortisol, and promotes the release of endorphins (morphine-like substances that your body naturally releases when you exercise). I encourage everyone get some type of exercise, whether it be jogging, running, walking, bike-riding, etc.. Lets stay strong, live long, and stay happy ;)
