So....Well, I'm still determined to better my diet and exercise regularly. I've been going jogging (usually 2-3 miles) about three times a week. With my schedule, that's all I can commit to right now. I'm not over-eating and I'm preparing more meals ahead of time so I don't find myself grabbing something at fast food joints. It's going pretty well.
I treated myself to a Chicago-style deep dish pizza because it was my mom's birthday. UMm UMm good. The only sucky thing is that it turned into meals for us for about 3 days since it was so FREAKIN huge:( I have to work extra hard now just to make up for that Monstrous pizza.
The jogging is going well. I have more energy and I know it sounds strange but I'm actually happier and I feel better about myself. Weird, I know, but not really, says some specialists. According to Mark Dombeck, Ph.D at Mental Help.Net, When you exercise regularly, you tone your body and metabolism, regulates stress hormones like cortisol, and promotes the release of endorphins (morphine-like substances that your body naturally releases when you exercise). I encourage everyone get some type of exercise, whether it be jogging, running, walking, bike-riding, etc.. Lets stay strong, live long, and stay happy ;)
